Selling crypto
Create an offer, lock the crypto in escrow, and release it once you're paid.
Create an offer#
Go to Create offer and choose I want to sell crypto. You decide:
- Asset and amount
- How much SOL, USDC or USDT to lock. It moves from your wallet into the escrow program when you publish.
- Currency
- What buyers pay in: USD, EUR, GBP.
- Limits
- The minimum and maximum a buyer can take in one trade.
- Price
- A margin from −50% to +50% over the live market price. The price follows the market until a trade opens, then it's fixed for that trade.
- Payment method
- Where buyers pay you, and the details they need (for example your PayPal email or IBAN). Details are only shown to the buyer of an open trade.
- Terms
- Optional rules for buyers, shown on the offer.
When a buyer opens a trade#
The amount is reserved from your offer for that buyer. Wait for their payment, then check it in your payment app itself, not in a screenshot or email. When the money is there and marked as completed, release from the trade room. Your wallet signs the release and the crypto goes straight to the buyer.
Payment reversals
Some payments, PayPal especially, can be reversed after you've released, while crypto can't be taken back. Read payment methods before choosing one.Manage your offer#
Your offers are listed under My trades.
- Withdraw everything that isn't reserved by an open trade, at any time.
- Pause to hide the offer from the board without moving funds.
- Close when no trades are open: everything left goes back to your wallet, including the small deposit that kept the offer account open.
